Thoughts on Marvel vs Capcom 3

Image from here

Jerall bought Marvel vs Capcom 3 on Saturday, and has been playing it since then. Not surprising behaviour for him once he has a new game, but what did surprise me is that I enjoy the game too. I think a big reason could be that it has a normal and simple mode for each player. The normal mode makes use of all the buttons and has people do those half circle, forward, back, left right, x crazy things to pull off a mode, not something for a button basher like myself. The simple mode though is button basher heaven, now by just hitting one button I too can pull off amazing movies and combos :D

Another reason I like the game is that other than any of the Dead or Alive titles, this game has more than the 4 or 5 female characters seen in fighting games, it has 13. Lets not forget the intro movies and general style, it's pretty :)

My only gripe with the game is that it's missing Ms Marvel :-/ In general I find Marvel vs Capcom 3 fun, and an easily accessible fighting game for those who like to just pick-up and play.
