Saven Disclosure (The Saven Series Book 2)Saven Disclosure by Siobhan Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holy heck, what a cliffhanger. Normally cliffhangers and I don't get along, but given that the third book in the series is out, it's kinda okay.

The book starts with moments of confusion for the reader...until you get to the end of the prologue and it says eleven days earlier. Then we're in more familiar ground and Sadie puts us back in the lop by telling us it had been six weeks since the events of the end of the first book.

As she goes about her day we learn more about the events on Earth, things about Sector 20, the underwater cities and aliens. So many different alien races. Mostly though this book is all about adventure, intrigue and love. Logan *sigh* Hyden *sigh*

I love how even though Sadie goes along with weapon training, she is adamant that she doesn't want to use them...and she sticks to it. Scenes where she uses her self defence training are such great reads, the way she chafes against being restrained and taken care of is a winner. She has no pride in the way when asking for help, but does her best to do her best for herself.

She isn't perfect - and that makes her an even more compelling character - but her strength of character is great. And helps things go marginally better in the twist near the end. My only nitpick is the Entero connection - bliming hat, that should have been completed already.

I'm looking forward to the next book.
