NL 2012: Scheveningen

The Friday before last when Jerall got home from work we decided to go check out Scheveningen. Fortunately it was one of the few warm, and bright days. Scheveningen is to Den Haag what Sea Point/Camps Bay is to Cape Town,  only it's a bit closer and cleaner. Along the promenade is tons of restaurants, an aquarium of sorts, a little mall - with an arcade -  and pier. There is also a display of sculptures in one spot. We didn't walk along the surf or even dip our toes in the water, we'd not packed a towel and Jerall had the wrong shoes on 0_o. Enough talk time for pictures:

Who farted?

Do they really think this cell can keep us?

I eat fishes.

Not much you can do when a giant steps on your boat.

Help!

  1. How neat are those sculptures? Just there randomly just because there's space?

  2. I think the sculptures are one of the best features of the beach :). I didn't see any signs about why they were there...it seems just because there was space.
